GAPDL Charity Golf Day – Friday 25th August 2023
The annual GAPDL Charity Golf Day in aid of our Agnes Water/1770 Local Ambulance committee was held on Friday 25th August with a full field participating. Funds raised go towards providing life-saving equipment & training for our local paramedics & community. Thank you to AVIS Gladstone who was the major sponsor for the day with 1770 LARC! & The Mango Tree Motel jumping on board as holes sponsors the day. Thank you also to our wonderful local businesses who donated prizes and vouchers for the raffle. The winning team of Peter Phillips, Colin Young & Steve Collett won the event with a net 26, Gary Pengelly, Rod Mitchell & Peter Doon placed second with a net 27 2/3 and third place went to the team of John Jennings & Brett & Ashley Newstead with a net 28. The pin shot on hole 12 was won by Steve Collett, Luke Seiler took out the pin shot on hole 17, Brett Newstead won the longest drive for the men and Tania Dickson the ladies longest drive. Thank you to all players, we look forward to seeing you next year!
